Job Description:

Data visualization and analytics services are growing in CDM Smith's Federal Service Unit. We are looking for a business intelligence specialist to join our team. Initially, this position will support a key program in Puerto Rico. But there are opportunities to work for clients and projects across CDM Smith.

This position will require travel at least a one-week trip to Puerto Rico each month for the next 18 months.

Their main tasks include:

•\tData analysis: Preprocessing, analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data to turn it into actionable insights.

•\tData modeling: Creating efficient data models, defining relationships between tables, and implementing measures and calculations.

•\tData visualization: Using visual elements like charts, graphs, or maps to represent data.

•\tBusiness requirements: Translating business requirements into technical specifications.

•\tReporting: Designing, developing, and deploying reporting tools and automated reports and dashboards

•\tSecurity: Establishing row-level data security while understanding Power BI's application security layer models

•\tMaintenance: Maintaining and supporting platforms for data analytics, and enhancing and optimizing existing BI systems

Minimum Qualifications:

•\tBachelor's degree.

•\t5 years of related experience.

•\tDomestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

•\tEquivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

•\tPowerBI experience is strongly preferred, along with Tableau and experience with other BI software is a plus.

•\tPrevious experience working in the (AEC) industry.

•\tknowledge of PMIS (project management information systems) such as e-Builder, Kahua, Procore, Unifier.

•\tFluency in Spanish.

Background Check and Drug Testing Information:

Additional Compensation:

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
