CDM Smith Civil Engineer 4-Traffic in Knoxville, Tennessee
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
Working closely with existing traffic engineering, planning and modeling staff performing work such as;
-Mainline capacity analysis (interstates and major arterials)
-Interchange design and alternatives analysis
-Interchange Modification Reports/Interchange Justification Reports
-Managed Lanes analyses
-Signal timing analyses
-Receiving technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects
-Acting as a mentor for junior level employees
-Participating to a limited degree in new business development
Civil Engineer 4-Traffic
CDM Smith Employment Type:
A successful CDM Smith candidate will have:
-B.S. in Civil Engineering or related degree
-5+ years of experience since B.S.
-E.I.T. or the ability to obtain it within 18 months
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Familiarity with software such as Synchro, HCM, VISSIM, TransModeler preferred
