CDM Smith Senior Communications Spec in Kathmandu, Nepal
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
Creating, developing and producing moderate to complex marketing materials and activities in support of firm's practices or divisions Writing copy for CDM Smith internal and external newsletters and possibly serving as the editor of Inside/Online or CDM Smith News Developing, writing and editing technical articles involving the firm's practices or divisions and placing those articles in publications Developing advertising and public relations campaigns for a practice, division, or business unit, including message, media, coverage, and placement.
Developing and issuing press releases pertaining to firm-wide news (e.g.: large project awards, promotions, key staff hires, etc.) Editing staff-written materials and counseling communications staff in advanced communications skills (e.g.: strategy, campaign design, fact-finding, media selection and message/audience alignment).
Senior Communications Spec
A successful CDM Smith candidate will have:
- B.A. in communications, journalism or English.
Four to 6 years of related experience Demonstrated skill in researching technical information from background sources.
Experience conducting interviews with multiple internal and client resources.
Demonstrated skill in interpreting and synthesizing the resulting data and information (from background and client sources) into appropriate communication materials with precision and accuracy.
The ability to provide or construct marketing materials with appropriate style, grammar, and syntax.
The ability to work collaboratively as a member of a communications team in preparing print materials, audio-visual presentations, and web-based communications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
The ability to work under rigid time constraints with a narrow margin for errors or delays.

Nepal - Kathmandu
